Beautiful borgo. Great in summer. Unfortunately too cold in winter due to missing heating. But extremely friendly staff

Posto davvero molto bello. Proprietari gentilissimi e disponibilissimi, pronti a soddisfare ogni richiesta.

Molto molto bello.

Beautiful place, nice view, watch out for the road if you're not well trained in tuscan countryside driving :)

Consigliatissimo.

I spent a week at La Solaia or "Borgo Paradise" just after new year 2018. Nothing I can tell you can express how well the staff treated our party or how beautiful this paradise is. It was everything I hoped for and so many things I could not have imagined. That said there are things about this place you must know before deciding to stay here for any length of time. The first is that this is not a 24 hour hotel. It is a family run operation and the parents have many obligations on the property and manage a busy family. Please be respectful of their time. The second is that it is unlikely you will have wifi unless you are in one of two guest rooms closest to the reception desk or in the area outside the reception room. The rooms and buildings that populate the many spaces of this hotel Villa are well maintained and thoroughly modern as a villa of this kind can be but they may not be suitable for everyone. Those with mobility issues or who are unable to climb stairs are not likely to have a staisfactory stay. This place as closely approximates a 19th century farmhouse as one can imagine and that means it is furnished accordingly. If your taste is to the modern, you may want to look further. The only misfortune in my nearly week long stay was that I reserved a three bedroom suite that had three queen beds. No such room exists here to my knowledge. What was offered was two bedroom suite, one large room between, with a living room with a fold out couch. The small bedroom had two single beds separated by a nightstand, this room might be best described a a children's room if you have small children. All in all this is a beautiful villa run by amazingly friendly people.
